In April of last year, the DGAM launched an urgent tender for the purchase of spare parts and the maintenance of NH90 helicopters. This tender valued at 11 million euros, has been awarded to the joint venture “Caiman” formed by Europavia and OEM Defense Services, which will be responsible for the repair and supply of components for the fleet of these helicopters, which receive at the Ministry of Defense the name “HT-29 Caiman”. This framework agreement will last three years.
During the bidding and resolution process, the UTE Caimán was considered “the only company technically qualified for the development of the project from a technical point of view, having negotiated improvements of interest to the administration”.
