On September 14, the first two PC-21 that will be part of the new training fleet for the future pilots of the Spanish Armed Forces, replacing the C-101, were received at Murcia’s General Air Force Academy.
Europavia, as a Pilatus consultant for more than 10 years, has participated in the entire process of the Program in its different phases: from the promotion of Pilatus capabilities and products that could respond to the current needs of the Academy, as well as in the advice for its participation in the tender launched by DGAM Acquisiciones and, currently, in the support for the implementation of the Program.
This Program called ITS, “Integrated Training System”, is a milestone for the Spanish Air Force since it will have a new generation training aircraft, simulators, and new generation support tools, after 40 years of the C-101 service, and also for Pilatus for having the Spanish Ministry of Defense as one of its clients and for Europavia for having participated in such an important contract.
