Europavia will update the Army helicopters’ rotable components for 2.3 million euros

The Central Office of Economic Affairs of the Logistical Support Command has awarded Europavia Spain the contract for the maintenance and the repair of the Army helicopters’ rotatable components for 2.3 million euros. The object of the contract is the repair of the Army helicopters’ rotatable components over the next three years. Helicopters on which maintenance tasks will be carried out are HR/A-15 (MBB Bölkow), HU-10 (Bell UH-1H Iroquois), HU-18 (Augusta-Bell 212), HT-17 (Boeing CH-47D Chinook), HU-21 (Eurocopter AS332B1 Super Puma), HU-27 (Eurocopter AS532UL Cougar), HA-28 (Eurocopter Tigre) y HE-26 (Eurocopter EC-135-T2+).

The document number is 2091115004400 and has been negotiatedwith ordinary handling advertising. The contract is distributed in four annuities between 2015 and 2018, paying 500,000 euros in 2015 and 600,000 euros in the next three years. Europavia will carry out the corrective maintenance, the certification of those tasks and the supply of spare parts, equipments, tools and tooling. It will also be in charge of the repairs, the modifications, the installations, theadaptations, the tests and other related tasks, as well as the maintenance of the specific containers for the material to repair or to check, and the supply of technical documentation.

Europavia Spain won in 2011 and 2.013 two similar contracts to this by 2 and 1.5 million euros respectively. Last week, the company has celebrated its 50th anniversary in an event that counted on the presence of the Head of the Estado Mayor del Ejército del Aire.
