The mayor of Alcorcón, David Pérez, checks how to perform the repair work and maintenance of aeronautical instruments

The mayor of Alcorcón, David Pérez, continues his path through the Industrial Area “Ventorro el Cano”. This time he has visited the facilities of Europavia, company created in 1965. We are proud to count in our city of Alcorcón with a company specialized in the field of aeronautics, defense and space and which has already been working for more than 50 years,” said the mayor.

David Pérez, along with the First Deputy Mayor and the Councilor Responsible for the Department of Employment of the city of Alcorcón, Silvia Cruz, was able to verify how this company – Spanish leader in logistics management MRO, repair of instruments and marketing of equipment and systems for high technology, in the aeronautics, defense and space fields-, is responsible for carrying out the parts of the bond for the Army (both Air and Earth) and FAMET.

In addition, this company is dedicated to the maintenance of avionics equipment of the Army’s helicopters, multi-year supply of spare parts of Airbus Space &Defense, agreement with the General Directorate of the Civil Guard’s helicopter service, contract with the traffic’s helicopter service, among others. Last year it had a turnover of 21 million euros. The mayor, David Pérez, continues, as it has done since the last legislature, visiting the shops and businesses of the city to get to know first-hand to all traders, entrepreneurs and businessmen who are installed in Alcorcon, and check what their needs are and the products and services they offer to the neighbours, to the rest of the Community of Madrid and, in many occasions to other countries.
