Europavia celebrates its 50 years with new facilities in Madrid

The 550 square meters of these industrial facilities, located in the industrial area of Ventorro del Cano in Alcorcon, Madrid, will be allocated to repair and the maintain services of aeronautical instrumentation of the principal companies and operators. This way, Europavia will complement its current portfolio of services and gain proximity with his customers.

An initial staff of 9 technicians qualified in a modern installation of 550 square meters, is responsible for the repair of the instruments for the main companies and aircraft operators.

Europavia, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary, has helped to the development of the Spanish aeronautical, space and defense industry, complementing their abilities, encouraging collaboration with the European industry and participating actively in their projects and challenges during its half century of existence. Europavia is part of Eurotradia International, a business group made up by a large number of companies in the aerospace industry, such as Airbus, MBDA and Thales, Safran, Dassault and Total. In the past 15 years, the model of business associated to the maintenance and logistical support, has led to Europavia’s turnovers to grow up at a pace of 14% annual. At the year-end 2015, this figure will exceed the 20 million euros.
